Problem Areas We Fix

If water is going where it shouldn’t — pooling in the yard, seeping under the house, or backing up through pits and drains — we’ve seen it before and we know how to fix it. These are the most common stormwater problems we solve.

Every Problem Has a Cause. We Find It First.

Most stormwater problems don’t fix themselves — and patching the symptom usually means paying twice. We investigate the root cause, then design a solution that addresses it permanently. Whether it’s a flooding yard, damp subfloor, or failing agline system, the fix starts with understanding why it’s happening.

Common Stormwater Problems We Solve

These are the stormwater and drainage issues we see most often. If any of these sound familiar, we can help.
1

Water Ingress Into Subfloor Areas

Water seeping through subfloor walls, damp block work, moisture under the house, and musty smells. Usually caused by poor drainage, missing waterproofing, or hydrostatic pressure from surrounding soil.

2

Yard Flooding & Pooling

Water sitting in the yard after rain, soggy lawn areas, and surface runoff that has nowhere to go. Typically caused by undersized pits, missing discharge lines, or poor site grading.

3

Runoff From Neighbouring Properties

Water flowing onto your property from next door, the street, or nearby reserves. Often requires interception drainage, retaining wall drainage, or new discharge paths to manage the additional load.
Subsoil & Groundwater Management →
4

Failed Agline Systems

Agline (subsoil) drainage that’s crushed, blocked with sediment, or installed without proper grading and geofabric wrap. Needs investigation, removal, and replacement with a correctly designed system.

5

Blocked or Broken Stormwater Lines

Tree root intrusion, cracked clay pipes, collapsed joints, or lines blocked with debris. We locate the fault with CCTV, then repair or replace the affected section.
Stormwater Investigations →
6

Pits Filling With Sediment

Stormwater pits that fill up with dirt, don’t self-clean, or surcharge during rain. Usually means the pit base is too low, benching is missing, or the pit is undersized for the catchment.

7

No Gravity Discharge Available

Your property sits below the stormwater main and water has no natural path out. Requires a charged stormwater line, sump pit, or pump-out system to move water mechanically.
